Elements of Design: Good design should be easy on the eyes and simple to navigate. The use of color should be warm and complementary. The information should be broken down into brief segments for quick and efficient reading. The design should have a flow one can easily follow. A website should incorporate optimized images for quick loading, proper spelling, as well as keywords and meta tags for search engines to find you. History: In 1995 I began designing for others simply from word of mouth. I've designed everything from extensive corporate online product catalogs to business cards. As time rolls on, my portfolio expands and I had to decide what direction to go from here. I found that the grass roots organizations, natural healthcare, artists, musicians, non profits and the like seem to be struggling to find designers that can combine an organic feel with technical ability. Our Mission: We are currently building a team of designers that will incorporate a more organic and down to earth feel for the conscious minded but with all of the available capabilities of web design such as Flash, CSS, Java, and more. As a massage therapist, musician, and graphics/web designer, I understand how important it is to portray the very image of what you represent. |
