*It is always best to sketch out a draft of your design vision first. You don't need to be an artist. This just gives us a general idea and direction to move in since the options are about limitless.
*Research and supply design examples that best reflect the direction you would like for your design.
*To properly quote any project, we will need to know as much as possible about your needs. What kind of site? About how many pages? How many pictures? Will you need logo design work done or photo editing? Custom graphics? Is this a merchant site? Do you already have descriptions and all the wording for the site completed? The list goes on... so refer to our quote form for a checklist of what is possible.

*Yes.... however there are beautiful times when our work load may already be too heavy and we would not be able to commit to such a project.
*We will need to know the details and the size of the project before we commit.
*Depending on our current workload, there may be an additional rush fee required..
* We provide two jpeg email proofs for each page or project and two printed proofs (if needed).
* Additional proofs means redesign work which becomes $3.00 per proof plus any additional redesign time which will be added to the service agreement upon notice and agreement by both parties.
* This depends on the size and type of project as well as our current work load.
* Generally 1-2 business weeks for a small to medium website and about 1 business week for custom graphics.
* At time of quote, we will agree on a due date which is included in the service contract.
* We will require your intent to cancel any projects or to make changes in writing. Upon receiving, we will return receipt of your notice by email detailing that we received your request and immediately halt any work.
* You will then be required to promptly pay for all work completed and forfeit all rights to the design unless later revisited and finished by Bubblehouse Designs.
* We hold designs not completed because they are an unfinished product of Bubblehouse Designs. This protects us from having an unfinished representation of our artwork in the public domain as well as protects us from anyone taking our artwork and manipulating as their own.
* A 20% discount is available to public schools and non-profits. Sometimes more depending on the cause at hand and by our own judgement of what is involved.
* Proof of non-profit status will need to be provided.
* A domain name is highly recommended so that your site can be more personal, more professional, and easier to locate.
* If you DO have a domain name, we will need to know who it is listed with and if it's current or soon to expire.
* If you do NOT have a domain name, we can register one for you for very little which we would include in your quote at your request.
* We can provide hosting if needed.
* If you currently use free hosting somewhere, keep in mind there are likely disadvantages such as outside ads running on your site, slower servers, less reliable, harder to find on search engines, and far less benefits.
* With the hosting we provide, you will have reliable servers, site traffic reports, free emails, and many more benefits depending on the package you choose.
* Image formats we can accept are tif, bmp, jpeg, gif, or png. Jpeg and gif are the two most standard for web format.
* If you provide images that require editing, we recommend tif format which is the cleanest and most original format to edit from.
* Most images will be optimized into gifs for fastest loading time which is the standard for fast loading websites.
* You may provide optimized gifs only if you are sure that they are quality images and optimized properly because once optimized, there is little room for editing.
* Yes.
* These generally require a secure server, shopping cart, and a merchant account or paypal.
* Yes.
* We are currently meeting with Flash Designers to join our team and once we find someone more permanent, we will display a portfolio of their work.
* Yes - You can inquire about regular maintenance you may want and we will design a package customized to your needs.
"Search Engine Optimization"
* This is the combination of key words and meta tags combined with proper
search engine submissions so that you will rank as high as possible on
search engines such as google, yahoo, ask jeeves, and so on.
* We have online companies we can submit your work to for you for a small service fee in addition to the cost of printing services which is independent from us. We use vendors who have been proven to be reliable and lowest cost.
* Often, it can be confusing to submit artwork to a print company if you are unfamiliar with their required specifications and color formatting. We can do this for you.
* OR, we can recommend you to a company we prefer and send you a file to their specifications.
* Bleeds are basically an image that goes to the edge of the card stock or paper. Such as a business card that has color all the way to the edge.
* This process requires that the image is a specified size larger then the paper so that when they are cut, there is no white space showing.
* This is a matter of understanding the differences between RGB modes and CMYK modes. CMYK is what is generally required for print work. RGB is more for digital formats such as websites.
